Whether it’s family camping trips, volunteering at a

wildlife rehabilitation centre or getting lost on hiking trails, being in

nature and around animals has always been my favourite thing to do. These

experiences have shaped my fascination with Australia’s native biota and over

time this has evolved into a passion for conserving it. I decided to study

Environmental Management at university as it allowed me to combine my love of

science and nature. I look forward to continuing to discover the wonders of Western

Australian biodiversity while contributing to the increasingly more environmentally

responsible resource and development sectors.
